Everyone uses different study techniques to help them learn that work for them. Try out some of these tips to see if they work for you and help you on your learning journey!
Using Colour Coding
Colour coding is an excellent way to get you on the right track when it comes to studying.
Using different colours to create a schedule can help you to separate the work that you need to complete and help you to set deadlines dependant on the tasks that you need to complete.
Colour coding can also allow you to make your notes and revision look aesthetically pleasing which can make it slightly less tedious when undertaking study tasks you're not specifically fond of.
Utilising Study Spaces
Making use of the study spaces around you is a great way to ignite the motivation in you to study. Sometimes, studying in your bedroom can become a chore and often leads to you not doing any studying at all.
Using spaces such as the library at your university is a great first step. The library is full of useful resources such as books and computers to help you with research tasks. These spaces are also quiet to help you focus. If your university doesn't have a library or the library is small or out of use, you can also use a local library for the same effects, all cities and towns have them!
If you work better in busier environments, attending a local cafe or coffee shop is another great location for studying. You can eat and study at the same time, which is always nice! These spaces are also great locations for studying with friends in an environment where you can have a quiet conversation about your work without disturbing others.
